Serge
Ivantsov
was born in 1965 in Minsk, White Russia. He still lives
and works in Minsk.
Serge
studied at the Belarus Academy for Fine Arts.
He
went to Sankt Petersburg, Russia,, where he graduated
in 1993 from the Art Academy. One of his teachers was
the famous Russian realist E. Moichenko. As a very talented
pupil Serge got the privilege to copy classical masters
in the Hermitage. No wonder he now masters all
different painting techniques.
Serge Ivantsov took part in collective exhibitions in
Moscow, Minsk, Washington and Toronto. He is very popular
among the Moscow diplomatic Corps and his works are
now in collections all over the world.
His early works
fit within the Russian realist tradition. Now his picturesque
landscapes, portraits and nudes are always compositions
with elements of mystical lights and shades.
