Tamara Janova was born in 1941 in Stalingrad, former USSR. Since 1946 she lives in Lithuania.

In 1971 she graduated from the State Art Institute of Lithuania.

Since 1976 the sculptor Tamara Janova is a member of the Lithuanian Artist Association. She had personal and collective exhibitions in Lithuania, Russia, Poland, France, Great Britain and Denmark.

More then 40 works have been collected by museums of Lithuania, the Tretyakov Museum (Moscow), the Olympic Games Museum (Lausanne) and The Britisch Museum (London).
