Aleksander
(Sacha) Palkinas was born in 1945 in Ivanov,
Russia.
He died in 2004 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
He graduated from the College of Fine Arts in
Ivanov.
In
1975 he came to Vilnius, Lithuania, where he
regained fame as a painter of the old city,
still lifes, portraits and landscapes. All in
the tradition of the Russian School.
He
was technically very talented, which gave him
the possibility to develop his talents in various
directions.
